Thank you for your participation throughout the planning process for the CD 12 Neighborhood Blueprint Plan for Adair Park, Capitol View, Capitol View Manor, and Sylvan Hills. At the final community meeting on August 30, feedback and comment cards indicated overall support for the vision, concepts, and recommendations in the plan. NPUs V and X both voted to support adoption of the plan at their September meetings. The plan and materials are still available on the website: https://sites.google.com/view/atldistrict12
For the plan to be formally adopted and incorporated into the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP), legislation must be adopted by City Council. Therefore, the Blueprint Plan will be on the next Community Development/Human Services Committee’s (CD/HS Committee) public hearing agenda. The public hearing will be on Monday, October 8, 2018 in the City Council Chambers, on the second floor of City Hall at 55 Trinity Avenue, S.W., beginning at 6:00 p.m. Following the CD/HS Committee’s vote, the legislation will be placed on the next City Council agenda for a final vote.
Again thank you for being part of this process!
The City of Atlanta Fall Scrap Tire Drive (Amnesty Event) will take place this November. The events will take place on the first three Saturdays in November.
This is also a great time to coordinate other community cleanup events and projects in your district.
Please see attached flyer with locations and details. Feel to circulate amongst your constituents via email, newsletters, and social media.
Thanks for your continued support!
Please find attached legislation that will appear on our October NPU agenda for a vote. The item will be heard either November 1 or November 8 by the Zoning Review Board. Please distribute to the affected neighborhoods. Click below for more information.
