Join the Annie E. Casey Foundation and peers from the public, private and philanthropic sectors for an event to explore promising policies and approaches that are helping to change the odds for African-American families in Atlanta.
When: Thursday, June 6, 2019 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Where: Atlanta Metropolitan State College Easley Pavilion & Conference Center
Drawing on findings and recommendations from a new Casey Foundation report, we will examine the systemic and structural barriers that are preventing Atlantans of color, especially those living along and south of Interstate 20, from accessing the opportunities necessary to thrive ― and the strategies that several forward-thinking organizations are implementing to establish more equitable pathways to education, housing, income and careers.
By working together, we hope to bring these types of solutions to a larger scale and, ultimately, ensure every Atlantan can access the opportunities necessary for them to fully contribute to, and benefit from, our city’s growing economy.
We hope to see you there!
