The pandemic has made it more challenging for our neighbors in need to access food. Fulton County’s “Fulton Fresh Mobile Market” provides free fruits and vegetables for senior citizens and families in need but the program requires they complete brief online learning modules in order to qualify each week. However, most of these individuals do not have access to the internet – preventing them from qualifying. Su-Kor has worked with Fulton County to create a solution.
How to Help:
- Visit https://fultonfresh.foodtalk.
org/ to register* for a FREE account and complete a short online module before Noon on Tuesday, June 9th, June 16th, June 23rd, June 30th and/or July 7th.
- Pick up your bag** of fresh food between 1 – 2 p.m. from the Mobile Market at 521 Capitol Ave (Gold Lot) Atlanta, GA 30312 on Tuesday, June 9th, June 16th, June 23rd, June 30th and/or July 7th.
- A Su-Kor volunteer will be on hand to collect donor bags and deliver them to residents in need. A copy of each week’s module will be printed and included with the donated bag so that our at-risk neighbors have access to valuable nutritional information.
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm you’ve completed the module and will pick up your bag from the Mobile Market (this helps us plan deliveries).
