LOWER MY PROPERTY TAXES: FILING FOR HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION

Join the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, the Atlanta Legal Aid, and the Grove Park Foundation for a free virtual workshop designed to help Fulton County property owners learn about the homestead exemption and how it could help lower their 2021 property tax bill. A free virtual information session is scheduled for February 24 at 6:00 p.m. and free virtual consultation/help sessions are scheduled for March 13 at 10:00 a.m. and March 24 at 6:00 p.m. Instructions on how to register for the consultation sessions will be shared during the information session.
EVICTIONS DURING COVID-19: AN IMPORTANT UPDATE

Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation have scheduled a free, virtual workshop for March 10 to review the current state of the CDC moratorium on evictions, and what to do when it expires after March 31. AVLF attorneys will discuss the eviction process and how to file an answer; what to do if you have a hearing before the moratorium ends, current CDC moratorium and what to do once it expires, and COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Rent, Mortgage, Utilities & Security Deposit Funds.
