Milk + Cookies at 787 Windsor in Mechanicsville

On April 7th, Bowe, Inc. will produce and promote Milk + Cookies at 787 Windsor. Milk + Cookies is a dessert themed music event with curated food selections, conceived to explore and satisfy the diverse pallet of Atlanta. Similar to everyone’s favorite
snack pairing, Milk + Cookies, this event blends music genres and creative activities to produce a blissful experience. We will feature live music by eight (8) national and local artists.

I have organized and produced seven (7) previous concerts in Atlanta (at Atlantic Station and Piedmont Park) similar to this where we are assembling all of the necessary components on a site within the city. All of these events were a success and without incident or nuisance to neighboring businesses or residents.

Bowe, Inc. is honored and enthused to be able to host this event in Atlanta. We look forward to engaging with the stakeholders in our neighborhood, in our city and to celebrating Atlanta’s social and cultural connections with the other international cities that will be participating.

Council District 12 Blueprint Plan + Community Engagement – March 24

The District 12 Neighborhood Blueprint Plan represents the collective vision, goals, and policies of the neighborhoods of Adair Park, Sylvan Hills, Capitol View, and Capitol View Manor. The Blueprint will capture the unique history of the neighborhoods, catalogue community’s assets as well as challenges, and identify catalytic sites and projects to spur redevelopment within the study area. Additionally, the plan will specifically outline strategies to leverage development activity in nearby Fort McPherson and Turner Field, MARTA stations, and commercial redevelopment opportunities at key nodes, along Metropolitan Parkway, and the BeltLine. More importantly, the plan will assist the effected communities in expressing a vision that will establish a quality of growth consistent with the existing character of the neighborhoods.

The plan will utilize its Stakeholder Committee to actively and passively engage the public through events, displays, community meetings, and a community survey. Please continue to check this website for updates on the plan, future events, and to find the posted link to the community survey when it becomes available.
